Council Pest Management Officers undertake inspections on urban and rural properties as part of
an ongoing program of biosecurity surveillance.
6.2.15.2.1 Pest survey program
The Biosecurity Act 2014 gives authority for Pest Management Officers to survey private property
and government land for invasive species. Each quarteryear four localities in rural areas are
