The Chief Executive Officer Noosa Council,

Comments regarding "Proposed Development" on Lot 1 SP 275863.


  1.  I don't believe this land was originally set out in the town plan or relevant to be developed in any way other than open spaces. Kids and dog lovers alike enjoy this space daily.
  2.  The remaining open spaces around the heart of Cooroy Town are speedily disappearing particularly with the community garden expanding quickly into the open space adjacent to the badminton hall.
  3.  Car parking in the immediate area is already at a premium and any development here would just in crease the load of cars on this very narrow stretch of road.
  4.  The road is too narrow to handle the current traffic already imposed on it. We already see 5 - 10 larger vehicles per day having to U-turn in this space.
