As a resident of this community, I've recognized the urgent need for such an establishment, especially one that aligns so well with the values and needs of our community. Beyond serving vehicular needs, this project promises to bring in local employment opportunities and invest back into our community by sourcing local supplies. The introduction of super bays dedicated to washing caravans, RVs, and other large vehicles stands out as a crucial feature. These expansive facilities are designed to accommodate a range of sizes, from horse floats to school buses. With the increasing number of caravan and RV owners in our area, as well as those with other sizable vehicles, such a facility would be immensely beneficial. The proposed raised walkways to facilitate easy washing of hard-to-reach places on vehicles are a thoughtful addition, enhancing safety and ease, especially for older members of our community. The commitment to sustainability and water conservation in this proposal is truly commendable. The innovative water-saving technology, such as atmospheric harvesting of moisture using solar energy, is groundbreaking. Coupled with the significant solar energy generation from the abundant roof space completely utilized by panels, this venture is primed to be Australia's greenest car wash. Like many residents here, I rely on tank water and unpredictable rain patterns, so the emphasis on vast water storage and significant water reuse capabilities addresses both community and environmental concerns. A pivotal point that deserves emphasis is the protection of our local catchments, which are home to rare and endangered species, many of which are endemic to the unique catchment areas of Cooroy. By introducing a facility that mitigates hazardous runoff at home, we are taking proactive measures to safeguard our exceptional environmental heritage. I am optimistic that this proposed car wash will not only cater to our vehicular needs but will also stand as a beacon of innovation, inclusivity, sustainability, and environmental conservation in Cooroy. I wholeheartedly endorse this initiative and hope for its swift approval. Kind regards, Ward Morel Sent from my iPhone
