OPEN SPACE PRECINCT CODE SPECIFIC OUTCOMES
Precinct 9 is to provide the largest area of outdoor recreation space for Residents.

To achieve the consistent use of Open Space, development in Precinct 9 (comprising of a flood path)
is to adhere to the following overall outcomes:

* the protection of flood paths is the paramount outcome

* stands of native vegetation are retained in their natural state

* — ecological restoration is undertaken in terms of watercourses and vegetation - particularly in

the northern part of the site where the area forms a linkage between Precinct 8 and stands of
vegetation on the site and on sites to the north

polishing of water flows through the site occurs

- establish infill rehabilitation planting up to existing vegetation edge

- to create a vegetated edge to prevent weed intrusion

- implement a weed management program as part of rehabilitation works

- install species consistent with the revegetation species implemented in previous works under
OPW 19/0138

 

Precinct 9 landscape works is to be implemented with native species generally consistent with the
