5    CONSIDERATION OF COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATIONS


INFRASTRUCTURE & SERVICES COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATIONS

The following Recommendations from the Infrastructure & Services Committee
were adopted without discussion or further amendment.

The Infrastructure & Services Committee recommendations dated 1 March 2016 be adopted.

1    RUFOUS STREET PRECINCT MASTER PLAN
     That Council note the report by the Director Community Services to the Infrastructure &
     Services Committee Meeting dated 1 March 2016 on the Rufous Street Precinct Master
     Plan and:
     A.     Approve the Rufous St Precinct Master Plan as set out in Attachments 1, 2 and 3 of
            the Report;
     B.     Agree to provide owners consent for a Development Application for a Material
            Change of Use to be lodged over Council owned lot 94 on SP 137431, Lot 1 on SP
            215942 and Lot 95 on SP 137431 in the Rufous St Precinct;
     C.     Request the CEO to prepare a Development Application over the site in accordance
            with the Master Plan; and
     D.     Include the Master Plan in any future planning provisions for the area.


2    NOOSA LEISURE CENTRE UPDATE REPORT 31 JANUARY 2016
     That Council note the report by the Noosa Leisure Centre Coordinator to the Infrastructure
     & Services Committee meeting dated 1 March 2016 providing an update on the activities of
     the Noosa Leisure Centre to 31 January 2016.


3    NOOSA COMMUNITY SUPPORT UPDATE REPORT TO 31 JANUARY 2016
     That Council note the report by the Noosa Community Support Coordinator to the
     Infrastructure & Services Committee meeting dated 1 March 2016 providing an update on
     the activities of Noosa Community Support to 31 January 2016.
