Why would the council consider such an application when the whole of the junction is struggling to keep shops open (there are at least 12 empty shops at this moment) ? Noosa doesn’t need another tavern or bottle shop in this area . (3 bottle shops already) Sogo and the Reef at the top of the hill, and the Koala bar. (really)? Independent super market squeezed out by Coles where is the freedom of choice for the locals? Car parks taking away a bowls club that has been part of a sport and recreation zone for 2 decades.(there also was once tennis courts and netball played in this precinct) Modern councils are interested in integrated communities wouldn’t a smaller bowling club be a valuable asset (that is already zoned )for the population looking for a passive sport. Accommodation . Has council considered the complaints from residents at the late night tavern . (Residents are continually lobbying the Villa Noosa for late noise from patrons leaving the venue) I strongly protest on this development application in its current form . Yours Sincerely. Frances Coules
