This letter of support serves as our submission with regard to the above proposed development
application to Noosa Council for RACV Noosa Resort’s proposed 16 new Eco Villas and additional pool.

RACV Noosa Resort is Noosa’s most award-winning resort and is one of the leaders in the region for
promoting sustainable tourism.

The resort has a proven track record of supporting and engaging with the local Noosa community and has
been one of the leaders in driving sustainable and environmental initiatives in the tourism industry.

The importance of having new and enhanced product, particularly accommodation in our region is
recognised and welcomed by us. As such, we wholeheartedly support RACV Noosa Resort's plan to create
a new eco-precinct which will include sustainable eco villas for environmentally-conscious visitors.
Additionally, the development is to be integrated within the existing environment and will maintain
important habitat, vital to ensuring the protection of the local koala population.

This plan is a unique opportunity and solution to concurrently increase accommodation options in the
region, offer eco conscious travellers a new accommodation choice, provide long term, sustainable
protection for our koala population, and offer a unique experience for visitors.

This development will deliver environmental, social and economic benefits for all stakeholders including
local suppliers, retailers and tourism operators along with the employment of additional local staff.
