Submission Callie Brennan MCU17 0049.msg
Subject: MCU17/0049 Submission Response From: Callie Brennan Date: 2017-08-29T23:12:33+00:00 To: Mailbox Council Mail I refer to the abovementioned development application currently with Noosa Council for assessment. Please find attached a response to the submitter issues raised during the public notification period. Council’s records indicate that a total of 21 submissions were received with 12 in support of the application and 9 objecting to the development. In summary, given the low intensity nature of the use, with a maximum number of 3 children at any one time, the use will not generate any significant off site impacts. It is considered that reasonable and relevant conditions can be imposed such as class numbers and acoustic treatments to address the immediate neighbours concerns. The use will not be visible or audible to any residents beyond the sites immediate boundaries. Furthermore, our client has advised that they would reduce the proposed operating hours to complete classes by 5:15pm, and not operate on Fridays. We request that a recommendation is made by Council’s officers as soon as possible, acknowledging that it will be decided by full Council at its next ordinary Meeting.
