                                        The siting of this facility has been a strategic
                                        and comprehensive process undertaken to
                                        provide an efficient and high quality service
                                        to the community, whilst minimising
                                        potential impacts on the environment.

                                        Existing infrastructure uses within the area
                                        will not be impacted by the development.
                                        Instead, the proposed facility will provide
                                        telecommunications         services      and
                                        infrastructure.

                                        For these reasons, the proposal is
                                        considered to comply with the intent of DEO
                                        3.1.3 (l).



6.3.4.2    Applicable Codes

As the proposed use is identified as Impact Assessable within the Rural Zone,
the proposal must be assessed against all relevant components of The Noosa
Plan. The Zone, Overlay and Development Codes that have been deemed
applicable to this application are outlined hereunder:
