As illustrated in Figures 7.1-7.3, the proposed facility is situated amongst
mature vegetation, with trees surrounding the facility extending up to
approximately 18 m in height. This mature vegetation on site will assist in
integrating the facility into the surrounding landscape, and will also provide
screening to the proposed facility when viewed from the surrounding area.

Furthermore, and as illustrated in Figure 7.4, the surrounding Cooran area is
also heavily vegetated. Mature trees on adjoining lots and within the wider area
will further obscure views towards the proposed facility, in turn reducing its
visual dominance in the landscape.

The potential visual impact of the proposed facility when viewed from the closest
dwelling to the west at 250 Tablelands Road will be minimal considering the
mature vegetation situated between the uses (refer to Figure 7.4 above),
providing screening to the proposed facility. This is further demonstrated in
Figures 7.5 & 7.6.
It is acknowledged that the proposed facility may be visible from the closest
dwelling, with the top of the proposed facility protruding above the tree line
(refer to Figure 7.6). However, it is considered the siting and design elements
