SERVICES & ORGANISATION COMMITTEE MEETING AGENDA 12 NOVEMBER 2019
3. Recommendations from the Evaluation
Team
The evaluation team considers the PentaCon tender to be the most advantageous to Council on the
basis that it presents the best value for money and as such recommend acceptance of their offer. It
should be noted that PentaCon was ranked (technical + commercial) second for Portion 1, and first
for Portion 2, but overall in first position.
No deviations from the tendered conditions of contract were proposed.
The evaluation team agrees that the potential risks related to PentaCon’s technical submission can
be mitigated through the early phases of the project. The financial benefits of accepting PentaCon’s
offer in comparison to its nearest competitor provide for significant savings.
The Evaluation Team has read, understood and endorses this Evaluation Report:

Project Manager, Noosa Shire Council
