Lost Opportunities in the Meetings, Incentive, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE) Market
The Noosa Springs Gold & Spa Resort has capacity to host a wide variety of corporate events.
However, the ability to attract these events have been significantly handicapped through the
inability to offer accommodation.
Over the past year, the following corporate events have been lost to Noosa because of the lack of
accommodation on site:
    •   Dulux Group Conference (120 delegates)
    •   Australian Institute for Disaster Resilience (AIDR)
    •   Nova Systems Weekender (200 delegates)
    •   Brisbane Taxi Association (250 delegates)
Incentive or group bookings have also had to be cancelled due to a lack of accommodation on site.
The Indooroopilly Ladies groups cancelled their visit because their accommodation needs could
not be met on site.
Additionally, many of the corporate events that have been secured for the property had to have
participate numbers capped due to the lack of onsite accommodation.
