Subject: tt bcs 1192 MCU12/0184 Submission Pentelow - FYI Ceo From: brad pentelow Date: 2013-08-07T06:29:55+00:00 To: Internet Mailbox Sunshine Coast Regional Council Attention To :- Sunshine Coast Council CEO , John Knaggs . Re : Proposed Poultry Farm at 136 Top Forestry Rd ,Ridgewood. MCU12/0184 Dear Mr Knaggs , I am writing to offer my new support for the above proposed development . I am also writing to ask that a submission of objection made by myself on the 16/6/13 be now fully retracted. As my family and myself , have now had a personal meeting with Dave Milligan. Who is the owner and his family and various employees on site at his farm . I am now convinced after talking to Dave ,that his proposed poultry farm will not impact upon my family and myself .As we are a direct neighbour across the road at 185 Top Forestry Rd . I have also found him to be very environmentally conscious for his surroundings .As it would appear that all successful farmers follow that mantra ,only to be misunderstood by a minority . He is very affable and answered all my concerns with traffic ,noise ,smell and has described the shed construction and positioning . Leaving my family and i feeling relieved and grateful for his time and patience . I can see that his proposed poultry farm if allowed . Will continue to offer the immediate area and Cooroy allot in terms of employment. As does his avocado plantation now and his mango plantation before that. This is so important in the current times of uncertainty . I believe his farming interests are genuine and he is just diversifying his land use. As any farmer located with large holdings in rural areas, must do to be a sustainable business .
