Fauna Management Plan 44 Hoy Road, Lake MacDonald Action Task Responsibility Timing ˗ Outline the procedure for compliance with any Animal Welfare Directions, and, ˗ Discuss any outstanding issues or questions with regard to roles and responsibilities. 5.2 CLEARING & CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES During clearing and construction activities there are several procedures and actions that must be followed to ensure vegetation clearing is managed correctly, and that any fauna observed on site are appropriately protected and managed. Procedures and actions include ensuring that a Wildlife Spotter Catcher is on site and managing the vegetation clearing activities, and that clearing is occurring in a staged method that allows all fauna to move off the site unimpeded. Table 2 summarises the activities and management responses which need to be carried out during the construction phase of the development. TABLE 2: CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES.
