Fauna Management Plan 44 Hoy Road, Lake McDonald 6 COMPLIANCE & MONITORING Compliance with the FMP will be achieved through self-administered monitoring of the Plan and any conditions imposed by Council as part of a development permit / decision notice. Prior to the commencement of works and throughout the period in which vegetation clearing or removal occurs, all personnel entering the site must familiarise themselves with the FMP and acknowledge their responsibility to comply with the Plan’s requirements. In addition, an activity checklist has been prepared which provides a procedure for auditing compliance with the Plan. The audit will be administered by the developer or their agents. A copy of the proposed site personnel register and the activity checklist is contained in Appendix 3. At the completion of clearing works, signed copies of the site register and activity checklist are to be forwarded to Council to demonstrate compliance and the discharge of the developer’s responsibilities under the applicable development permit conditions. The latter can be conditioned by Council as part of a development permit. 21 | 29
