Council acknowledges receipt of your request for written advice in relation to the above site
and provides the following information:

As detailed in your letter, the site is in the industrial zone in the Noosaville Locality and the
nature of the proposed business, as described, falls under Industrial business Type 2 which
includes food industries and is self assessable against the Business Uses Code.

Your enquiry is specifically related to the 20% component of an industrial use area for the
sale of goods resulting from the business. The plan provided clearly shows the area
intended for this use and would comply with the use definition.. However, this does not
allow for the consumption. of food and beverages on the premises which is separately
defined as a shop/café use.
