It is acknowledged that Figure 1-1 shows the sight triangles are not clear of all obstructions, specifically the
line of sight passes between a pair of columns. However as shown on the north / east elevation (Figure 1-2),
the columns leave space to allow drivers to clearly see between and beyond these columns.
