signs would be provided on roof canopies and above the entrance door. The
signface area of each sign would be less than 4m2, and the combined signface area
of all signs would be less than 10m2. The use of small signs would minimise visual
clutter and ensure they are compatible with the scale, proportion and bulk of
       buildings and landscaping.

       4.5.6 Driveways and carparking code

The proposal complies with the code as transport infrastructure would be provided
in a manner that meet the needs of development without generating off-site
       impacts.

The proposal would not be fundamentally different to the existing service station or
other similar service stations in the region. As noted in the traffic impact
assessment, it would not increase the customer catchment area, and the majority of
generated traffic would be undiverted drop-in traffic; this has already been counted
and accounted for in the background traffic volumes on the roundabout. As such,
there would not be a material net increase in existing traffic volumes or impacts on
       the adjacent roundabout.

The existing median strips in Mary Street and Weyba Road would limit traffic to left-
in and left-out movements, and only vehicles travelling east along Mary Street could
access the site. The proposal would utilise three of the four existing crossovers so as
not to impact traffic flow or road safety. It is anticipated that the daily breakdown of
       typical traffic generation would be—
       • 5am to 4pm: 350—410 vehicles
       • 4pm to 7pm: 90—120 vehicles
       • 7pm to 10pm: 30—45 vehicles

The design and orientation of the proposal, combined with the large site area,
would allow vehicles to enter and exit the site in a forward direction, and
manoeuvre entirely within it, without affecting the efficient and effective function of
the external traffic network. Furthermore, sufficient vehicle parking would be
provided to meet the demand generated by the use. A total of 17 on-site car
parking spaces, ten (10) of which would be located at the petrol bowsers, would be
provided to satisfy the demands generated by staff and visitors; this complies with
the requirements prescribed by Table 14-51, as follows—
