It is understood that the owner proposes to upgrade the existing septic tank and trench system
to an aerated sewerage treatment plant (STP) and effluent disposal area, to service the existing
dwelling and daytime factory staff facilities as shown in the attached Site Layout Plan (refer
Figure 2). As part of the upgrade of the on-site sewerage facilities, FPE was engaged to carry
out an assessment of the on-site sewage treatment and potential disposal areas. This site and
soil evaluation report presents the on-site sewage treatment and effluent disposal area
required to cater for the existing development. The assessments and recommendations
contained within this report are based on our site assessment, information provided by the
Client and the recent geotechnical investigation carried out by Australian Soils Investigation
(ASD).
