Dear Council,

I have tried to find out how to send this on a form but gave up in the end!!!

I wholeheartedly agree with all aspects of the Noosa Civic expansion. It needs to be finished and the expansion is long overdue. The only problem is that there isn’t going to be a David Jones or Myer. Why not? One of these is indeed necessary. We certainly don’t need a Target/K-Mart as we already have an equivalent at Civic. Something a bit more classy is needed as we already have plenty of “junk” shops, especially in Noosa Junction which is quite unappealing for most people to shop at. The architecture looks wonderful. We have plenty of trees and wildlife around Noosa and there will be absolutely no impact on losing ‘green space’. People would come from far and wide as the only large shopping centre is at Maroochydore and that is very difficult for most people to go to at short notice. Congratulations to all involved and looking forward to see it evolve.
