5.2 Heritage

In order to determine any possible natural or cultural values of state or national significance
associated with the site a search was conducted through the relevant Heritage Registers.

No Aboriginal or other heritage sites of significance identified within the subject land holding or
within close proximity.


5.3 Noise and Vibration

There will be no noise or vibration impacts associated with the operation of the
telecommunications facility. The OAN equipment cabinet will emit only minimal noise from its air
conditioning unit, which will enable the equipment to stay within normal operating temperatures.
It is believed that the operation of the air conditioning unit will not result in any adverse noise
impacts to the nearest sensitive noise receptors given the low level noise that would be
produced by the unit. The noise is akin to a standard domestic air conditioning unit.

During construction, there will be some minor excavation works which may introduce noise and
vibration for a temporary period. Due to the anticipated speed of the development, it is
anticipated that the construction and operation of the facility will not generate extended adverse
noise impacts on surrounding land uses.

5.4 Traffic

Telecommunications facilities are not significant generators of pedestrian or vehicular traffic.
The site encompasses sufficient parking within the existing access road and its surrounds for
construction vehicles and workers. Throughout the lifecycle of the telecommunications facility, it
is only required to be visited on a quarterly basis throughout the year for maintenance
purposes.
