Re Application No. MCU15/0082

I commend the Cooroy Noosa Genealogical & Historical Group for submitting an application for ‘Change of Use’ of the council land situated at 17 Emerald Street, Cooroy as per Application No. MCU15/0082.

After many years of having shared accommodation in cramped and damp premises they will, hopefully, now be able to have spacious and dry premises for their sole use. The site is in a quiet area with plenty of public parking space available and close to all amenities

The Group’s proposed premises will be a safe and dry building in which to store and display all the historical records that they hold of Noosa Shire,  plus a huge amount of genealogical material which is in constant use for family history research by members of the group as well as the general public.

Your approval of this project would be greatly appreciated.
