GENERAL COMMITTEE MEETING                                                    15 OCTOBER 2018


    Committee Recommendation
    Moved:            Cr Stockwell
    Seconded:         Cr Jurisevic
    That Council note the report by the Community Facilities Manager to the General Committee
    Meeting dated 15 October 2018 and:
    A.    Authorise a one-off capital contribution payment of $100,000 to Noosa Gymnastics
          Club to assist with the unexpected cost of rectifying the non-compliant fire booster
          pump at the Bicentennial Community Centre.
    B.    Authorise the Chief Executive Officer to enter into a new lease with Noosa Gymnastics
          Club for the expanded main hall with an initial term of 10 years and two further options
          of five years each.
    C.    Apply the exception to the requirement for tendering of this lease under Section 236
          (1) (b) (ii) of the Local Government Regulation 2012, as the site will be leased to a
          community organisation.
                                                                                         Carried.
    Cr Wilkie returned to the meeting and resumed the Chair.



7   CAPITAL PROGRAM DELIVERY STATUS - SEPTEMBER 2018

    That Council note the report by the Asset Planning Manager and the Infrastructure Planning,
    Design and Delivery Manager to the General Committee Meeting dated 15 October 2018
    providing an update on the projects being delivered throughout the 2018/19 Capital Program.

8   FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE REPORT - SEPTEMBER 2018

    That Council note the report by the Manager Financial Services to the General Committee
    Meeting dated 15 October 2018 outlining September 2018 year to date financial performance
    against budget.
