                                                       Defined Uses and Use Classes
                                                              The use and use class terms employed by this planning scheme have the meanings
                                                              described below.

                                                              This planning scheme employs the nesting of land uses so that—

                                                              •   aA primary use includes use classes;

                                                              •   aA use class in turn is defined and includes uses based on performance and
                                                                  potential level of impact;

                                                              •   aA use in turn is defined; and

                                                              •   aA diagram for each primary use is included to assist explanation of the nesting
                                                                  construction.
