Noosa Shire as a place to live. Residential environments have a significant role in the maintenance
of those values.
• The impact of residential development on Noosa Shire’s natural resources, open space and clean
environment, as well as the degree to which development is integrated with the landform and
landscape will have a significant bearing on residents’ perceptions of the place they live, the Shire’s
character and natural environment and residents’ lifestyle.
