Dear Sir While I formally do not object to the application my primary concern relates to parking and traffic flow in Grant Street and Serenity Close. 1 Due to the increased volume of traffic along Grant St. it is essential that good footpaths be provided for all pedestrian traffic along Grant Street. The survey of the traffic on Grant St. was also conducted in July which is the middle of the low season. Special attention must be paid to parking on Serenity Close where it changes from two lane thoroughfare to a single lane carriageway opposite the driveway entrance of 8 Serenity Close. The southern side of the road should be marked with a yellow line all the way to the service entrance to the new development at the roundabout to make it a no parking zone and to allow service vehicles plus residents safe access along this street. Maybe parking permits for residents of Serenity Close and delineated parking spaces on the northern side of Serenity Close to maximize the space that is available for parking. A restricted time being applied to vehicles without a permit. There are 124 spaces for bicycle storage yet there are no enhanced bicycle pathways to and from the resort. I feel that it is important for the council to provide the infrastructure make sure the development is safe and does not detract from the quite enjoy of the existing residents in this area. Kind Regards Russell Wells
