To the Assessment Manager

I am writing to you to ask you reconsider the very UNWANTED development
at 37 Gibson Rd Noosaville
As you know the commercial site leased for many years as a nursery enjoyed
by many and enhanced the area by look.
Now...the owners of this property wish to redevelop the area...turning it into
a very 1)NWANTED convenience store along with other commercial business
and parking for 67 cars? maybe more.
Can you imagine the chaos this will cause at the Gibson Thomas and Skipper
rd roundabout, not to mention how difficult it is to exit Skipper rd into
Gibson rd at the best of times.
What has happened to the council interested in environmental excellence and
sustainability.
Why is this development needed?
We have in the immediate area...
 Woolworth's shopping centre open Monday to Friday 8am-9pm Saturday and
Sunday 6pm and 5pm respectively
Villa Noosa open Monday to Saturday 10am -3am Saturday and Sunday 10am
Dan Murphy weekdays 10am-10pm
MacDonald's open 24hrs...and many other retail shops.
We who live in this area love the unspoilt Noosa but I am afraid the
commercial developers are fast running Noosa into a myth ....
So ...I appeal to you to help in keeping our pocket of Noosa real and not see
it turn into a very ordinary suburban town with eyesore shopping centers on
every corner and to have concern about this very UNWANT         development

With regards from a very lucky citizen to live in Noosa.
