organisation to be financially sustainable in the long term and as a result, provide support services
to the local business community.
The newly elected Noosa Chamber Committee developed a 2021- 2024 Road Map & Strategy
which redefined what the Noosa Chamber stands for, where it fits and how it can be effective, add
value and benefit business and community. The document states that the Noosa Chamber aims
to be considered the peak business group for the Noosa region by stakeholders.
The plan defined five strategic pillars:
1. Get the foundations right
2. Business engagement – membership focus
3. Earning a seat at the table – united voice
4. Sharing our story
5. Noosa climate of ideas, incubation & growth
The grant application was submitted to fund the resources needed to deliver against the first two
pillars of the Chambers’ strategic plan:
1. Get the Foundations Right; and
2. Business engagement.
