                  Re: - Response to Further Information Request - Bushfire
      Further to Council issuing a Further Information Request and specifically regarding bushfire please
      find our response below.
      Further Information
      Bushfire:
      1. Further information is required about landscaping between buildings and areas
         identified as ‘buffer planting theme’ and ‘eastern buffer planting theme’ in the CLP. A
         fuel reduced area must be established between buildings and areas identified as ‘buffer
         planting theme’ and ‘eastern buffer planting theme’ in the CLP. The fuel reduced area
         must have a nominal width of 3 m and mostly consist of lawn or a non-combustible
         surface, such as gravel, concrete or pavers, or water feature.
      2. Further information is required about site access and evacuation in a bushfire
         emergency and the location of a safe on-site assembly or evacuation area which can be
         used in the event of Link Drive being compromised. Given that MCU21/0110 would
         result in the congregation of a large number of people in a bushfire hazard area, the
         solution must be developed in consultation with the QFES. A letter is required from the
         QFES which acknowledges their involvement in consultation and support of the
         proposed solution.
      3. Identify the location of a safe on-site assembly or evacuation area and the route(s) to the
         designated area.
