4. CONCLUSION
Engeny Australia Pty Ltd (Engeny) has been engaged by Adrian Brocken to develop a Flood Impact Assessment for the proposed earthworks
at 21 Ward Street, Tewantin. This report provides details regarding the existing and developed flooding conditions.
Hydraulic modelling has been undertaken Existing and Proposed conditions of the Site utilising Noosa Shire Council’s Noosa Urban TUFLOW
model. The Proposed Scenario represents the reinstatement of grounds levels over the existing tennis court back to the pre-existing terrain,
that is before the tennis court was excavated.
The result of the hydraulic modelling demonstrates that no off-site flood impacts result from the proposed works and the objectives outlined
in Section 3.3 have been achieved.
Therefore, this flood impact assessment has highlighted that the proposed earthworks can be undertaken without resulting in any off-site
impacts.
