Town Planning Report
Table 11 - Overall Outcomes for the Cooroy and Lake Macdonald Locality Zone.
b) The Cooroy and Lake Macdonald Locality COMPLIES
supports a growing urban and rural settlement The subject land is located at the fringe of the
of permanent residents Cooroy Township and is reasonably capable of

Attachment 8 to this report.

Notwithstanding, the proposed development
seeks to respond to the needs and demands of
the ageing demographic of the Noosa Council
region by providing diversity in housing choice
in a self-sustaining community that will also

land surrounded by high levels of open space
and amenity. Such land lends itself to
residential living.
d) Development is consistent with the Priority ALTERNATE SOLUTION
Infrastructure Plan in Part 15 It is acknowledged that the proposed
development is located outside the mapped
priority infrastructure area for the Cooroy

Engineering Services report prepared by
Westera Partners and included at Attachment
8 to this report, there is sufficient capacity in
the trunk infrastructure network to
accommodate the proposed development.
g) Cooroy retains its role as the major business NOT APPLICABLE.
