SPECIAL MEETING AGENDA 26 APRIL 2018
Submission No. 1 (continued)
e Throughout our 14 years in business we have never had issues with traffic flow,
inflow / outflow or car parking. I cannot recall a single vehicle incident involving
patients entering or exiting our property.
e Inthe Noosa Plan “discussion paper” in the Noosaville section there was an Outcome
to create a health hub to cluster medical and health services. It is suggested that our
“Precinct” could fit perfectly into this proposal for many of the reasons we have
already stated. Particular elements that make this a perfect fit include:
o Proximity to the Hospital
o Access to public transport
o Easy pedestrian, vehicle and disability access
© Proximity to Wallace Park
o High visibility
o Low impact to adjoining residential areas and therefore a good fit
o Would not require any resumptions of residential property with potential for
property owner’s resistance and associated complications.
o Would be an extension of the clustering of medical and allied health services
already in the vicinity (in Goodchap Street).
We hope you consider the information and points we have raised in this letter and are
influenced to support our position. We would welcome any feedback from Council and
would be happy to meet with you should you wish to discuss the matter further.
Yours sincerely
ee
