Subject: FW: Ref Application MCU22/0067 From: Mailbox Planning Date: 2022-05-26T01:57:47+00:00 To: Mailbox Records Please forward to Development Assessment task list. From: Shelley Evans <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, 24 May 2022 9:07 AM To: Mailbox Planning <[email protected]>; Ben Evans <[email protected]> Subject: Ref Application MCU22/0067 CAUTION: This email originated outside of Council. Do not open links or attachments if the email is unexpected or unusual. To The Noosa Planning Department, I write in reference to Application No MCU22/0067. I have read through this application and would like to raise my objection/concern in relation to the following : The council have been contacted on numerous occasions regarding the speed of Sunrise Road and the dangers of exiting the driveway onto Sunrise Road. The direction of the corner and the height of the verges in front of No 403 makes exiting these properties extremely dangerous and residents at 393 and at 399 have all had near misses due to this and the speed that drivers are travelling around the corner. As they drive around the corner they vear over to the left, crossing the white lines at higher speeds than the limit. The line of sight is negligable - you are not able to pull out from this driveway without having the driver side window down, no noice in the car and listen for any oncoming traffic. It is also a requirement to ensure no traffic is travelling from the other direction to maximise damage control to enable any oncoming vehicle to move over to the right hand lane should they be travelling at speeds that do not enable them to slow down. I cannot reiterate enough how dangerous this driveway is - consideration must be given to increasing the right hand line of sight. This must be addressed before any consideration is given to 'temporary' residents residing at 401, to consider their safety and the safety of all current residents. Can you please confirm receipt of this objection/concern and advise accordingly. I look forward to hearing from you. Regards Shelley Evans 0421 624385
