2.3. Surrounding Land Uses
To the east the lot adjoins the recently realigned Holts Road (as part of the Cooroy to Curra
Bruce Highway upgrade). Further to the east is the Bruce Highway, rural residential lots and the
Cooroy Golf Club.
To the north is an industrial lot also occupied by DTMR and the new Cooroy south road
interchange network which is near completion.
Adjoining to the south and west are 3 industrial lots with small rural holdings and a currently
unused extractive resource facility beyond. Further along Holts Road are some rural residential
lots and an RV Stop.
