PLANNING & ENVIRONMENT COMMITTEE MEETING AGENDA 7 JULY 2020
Membership of the Strategic Advisory Group
The Strategic Advisory Group will consist of one or two elected representatives (Councillor/Mayor) or Senior
Officers (a Director or Manager or equivalent) from each state and territory, from a council that has declared a
climate emergency. Places on the Advisory Group are offered to individuals with the skills, ability and capacity to
support CEA and not on a representative basis for individual councils. A nominee does not have to be from a
Founding Funder council. There will be places for Founding Funders where required - the aim is to involve the
Founding Funders but balance the numbers for a functioning Advisory Group. Nominations must be supported
by officers or councillors from two other declared councils and received on the nomination form by 18 June
2020.
