They were looking to move from the city to a rural community and chose Cooran and this property for its distinctive rural and bush aspects, its proximity to national parks and the scenic amenity offered from their property. A significant factor in their decision to settle in this area was Noosa Council’s Noosa Plan, which seeks to preserve the scenic and environmental values of the area. The proposed telecommunications tower on the adjacent property is only 100 metres from Jamie and Christine’s boundary and will adversely impact their scenic amenity. The proposed structure will tower over their property as an industrial landmark - not at all in keeping with the distinct rural amenity that the Noosa Plan seeks to maintain and promote for the Cooran locality. I implore you to reject this proposal. Katrina Robinson [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> 166b Rochford Street Erskineville NSW 2043
