5.    Amendment of s8 (Prescribed complementary accommodation —
      Authorising local law, schedule 1)
            Section 8, ‘caravan’—
            omit, insert—
            ‘accommodation’.


6.    Amendment of sch 2 (Categories of prescribed activities for the purposes
      of maximum penalties)
      (1)   Schedule 2, part 2, subsection (2)—
            omit.
      (2)   Schedule 2, part 2, subsections (3) to (6)—
            renumber as subsections (2) to (5).

7.    Amendment of sch 4 (Prescribed complementary accommodation)
            Schedule 4, ‘caravan’—
            omit, insert—
            ‘accommodation’.

8.    Amendment of sch 5 (State-controlled roads to which the local law
      applies)
            Schedule 5, ‘This schedule has been intentionally left blank.’—
            omit, insert—
            ‘Subject to the chief executive’s written agreement under the Transport
            Operations (Road Use Management) Act 1995, section 66(5)(b), every State-
            controlled road in the local government area of the local government is a road to
            which applies each of the following-
            (a) Noosa Shire Council Local Law No. 1 (Administration) 2015; and
            (b) Subordinate Local Law No. 1 (Administration) 2015.
            For the purposes of the Transport Operations (Road Use Management) Act 1995,
            section 66(5)(b), the chief executive’s written agreement is subject to the
            limitations specified in a letter from the Department of Transport and Main Roads
            to the local government dated 19 June 2018.’.

9.    Amendment of sch 10 (Installation of advertising devices)
      (1) Schedule 10, section 2(2)(d), ‘For sale’ –
            omit, insert -
            ‘For sale and for lease’
      (2)   Schedule 10, section 2(2)(d)(iv), ‘.’—
            omit, insert—
            ‘; and’.
