1. Hinterland Environmental Conservation Project; and
2. Peregian Beach Digital Hub.

That the meeting be closed to the public pursuant to Section 275 (1) of the Local Government
Regulation 2012, For the purpose of discussing Item 1 – Hinterland Environmental
Conservation Project.

That the meeting be re-opened to the public.

1 HINTERLAND ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION PROJECT
DOCUMENT INFORM AT ION
Council Resolution
Moved: Cr Stockwell
Seconded: Cr Jurisevic
That Council note the report by the Chief Executive Officer to the Special Meeting
dated 13 October 2017 and the further report by the Chief Executive Officer to the
Special Meeting dated 13 October 2017 containing updated information regarding a
proposed hinterland environmental conservation project and:
A. Note the proposed environmental benefits, risks and costs associated with the
proposed project; and
B. Approve the project “in principle” and authorise the Chief Executive Officer to
proceed with the Approved Actions as set out in the further report.
Carried.
Cr Glasgow was absent for the vote.
2 1617T130 PEREGIAN BEACH DIGITAL HUB - TENDER ASSESSMENT
DOCUMENT INFORM AT ION
Council Resolution
Moved: Cr Jackson
Seconded: Cr Pardon
That Council note the report by the Director Community Services to the Special
Council meeting dated 13 October, 2017 and;
A. Not award tender 1617T130 in accordance with Section 228 (8) of the Local
Government Regulation 2012 and Conditions of Tender clause 14.1; and
B. Request the Chief Executive Officer to inform all tenderers of Council’s
decision.
Carried.
