Previous Council Consideration
In the previous term of Council, Cr Tony Wellington was Chairperson of the LDMG and Cr Joe
Jurisevic was Deputy Chairperson of the LDMG and Chair of the Local Disaster Recovery Group.

Risks & Opportunities
The LDMG has a critical role in managing local response to disasters that impact upon our
community. Historically, it has been a well-managed process and needs to remain so to keep our
community safe.
