1       Introduction
                     RoadPro Acoustics was engaged by RG Strategic to assess potential noise
                     emissions from an accommodation facility at a site at 14-16 Mary Street,
                     Noosaville (the Site). The site location is shown in Figure 1, and proposed site
                     layout is shown in Figure 2. Plans are provided in Appendix A.

                         The Site is in the Business Centre Zone and Mary Street Precinct. The
                         proposal is a Consistent Use and is specifically designated for backpacker /
                         hostel accommodation within the Noosa Plan.
                         There will be no on-site entertainment or formal social events such as parties,
                         with the intention that guests who wish to engage in such activities can readily
                         do so off-site. This will be incorporated in the Operational Management Plan.
