OWNER’S CONSENT TO A DEVELOPMENT APPLICATION FOR A MATERIAL CHANGE OF USE ONLY

Operational works for a prescribed tidal work that triggers a Material Change of Use within a CANAL
only in the Noosa Local Government Area under the Noosa Plan 2020

This document relates ONLY to a prescribed tidal work which is: -

e only within a CANAL as defined under s9 of the Coastal Protection and Management Act 1995
(Coastal Act); AND

e ajetty, pontoon, boat ramp etc that is considered a material change of use for a Landing under
Table 5.5 of the Noosa Plan 2020 (Landing); AND

e fora material change of use only

This letter is evidence of the Department of Resources consent as owner for the making of
development applications only for a Landing: -

1. within a CANAL as defined under the Coastal Act; AND

2. fora material change of use triggered under the Noosa Plan 2020; AND

3. made by the registered owner of freehold land adjacent to a CANAL within the Noosa Local
Government Area (or their nominated representative); AND

4. the Landing is proposed to attach to that freehold land; AND

5. for private non-commercial use

If all of the above requirements are satisfied, a copy of this document may be attached to a
development application to meet the requirements of the Planning Act 2016 for the application to be
a properly made application ONLY in relation to the provision of consent of the owner.

This consent does not constitute a development approval, nor does it imply that a development
approval will subsequently be granted.
