benefits to the wider community would be great. A project of this nature would be an amazing draw card for the residents of Noosa and its visitors. It could be a place that people want to be and not just for the grocery shopping. It could be a place that people could live, learn, work and connect. However, I do acknowledge the significant investment that council would need to make in regards to infrastructure, buildings (new and old), and traffic and public spaces. But I'm sure, given the right conditions, the Coles group and the State Government would be amenable to such a project with its inherent benefits to the community. The vision that I put forward is to create a new heart (hub) for the community i.e. a new cultural precinct that grounds Noosa. A cultural hub that connects with other functions in the area, such as shopping, dining, business and residential living is an ideal solution. An exciting area that is fresh, modem, vibrant and innovative achieved through strong design, environmental sensitivity and good architecture. Now is the time for Noosa to step up and say no to the expansion of Noosa Civic and to say proudly that we have our own vision of the future and that vision will be provided by its people for its people and will not be left in the hands of people who don't care about this community and only care about their bottom line. Thank you for hanging in there and reading my thoughts on the vision to renew the Junction. I hope they will add to the current dialogue and be beneficial to you and others. Please feel free to contact me at any time. Kind regards, Jason Green
