Attachment E1 – Flora Survey Methodology
The survey method recommended by the “Flora Survey Guidelines - Protected Plants” (Qld Department of Environment and
Heritage Protection 2016) is the Timed Meander Survey as described by Goff et al (1982). A formal flora survey, in accordance
with the survey method recommended by the Guidelines, was conducted on 17th April 2019 by two suitably qualified botanists
(Dr Stephen Catchpoole and Dr Justin Watson).

The survey method employed, and the nature of the subject land, allowed for a comprehensive species list. Survey of the area
was divided into the following units:

     •   the subject land (Lot 3 SP126203); and
     •   the buffer area, comprising a Council reserve.

For the purposes of the flora survey, the boundary/corner co-ordinates for the subject land (clearing impact area) and buffer
are as follows:
