Dear Jada
RE: RAL21/0026 RESPONSE TO INFORMATION REQUEST
DEVELOPMENT APPLICATION FOR RECONFIGURING A LOT – ONE LOT INTO TWO LOTS
Lot 373 on Crown Plan P93115
29 Currawong Crescent, Peregian Beach
Pursuant to section 13 of the Development Assessment Rules and in response to Council’s Information Request
dated 16 November 2021, we provide all of the requested information.
Additional information is in the form of:
Crocker & Associates Engineering Drawings
Email from Beatrice Gibberd, 360 Civil Consulting
An explanation of the additional information in relation to the Information Request is as follows:
SEWER CONNECTION TO PROPOSED LOT 32
1. Provide Unity Water’s approval of the proposed connection as shown on the submitted plans.
Response: We refer to the attached email from Beatrice Gibberd, as a Unitywater minor certifier, of 360 Civil
Consulting in which it is confirmed that the proposal cannot be assessed until the reconfiguration has been
approved, but that Beatrice has reviewed the water and sewer connection and has determined that the design by
Crocker & Associates is acceptable.
DRIVEWAY FOR PROPOSED LOT 31
2. Provide additional detail on the access driveway and the manoeuvring area for proposed Lot 31. The detail
must be prepared by a suitably qualified person and include but not be limited to: 2.1. Levels and grades of
the access driveway and the manoeuvring areas;
2.2. A longitudinal section extending from the centreline of the formation in Currawong Crescent to the
carparking;
2.3. Demonstrate that a B99 vehicle will not bottom out or scrape entering/exiting the existing driveway;
and
2.4. Provide test results demonstrating compliance of the existing brick surfacing with the requirements of

3. Provide test results demonstrating compliance of the existing brick surfacing with the requirements of
AS/NZS 3361.1 – Slip Resistance of Pedestrian Surfaces.
Response: We refer to Crocker & Associates Engineering Drawings in which a new concrete driveway has been
designed in accordance with Council’s requirements.
STORMWATER AND THE LAWFUL POINT OF DISCHARGE
4. Provide details of how the stormwater from the proposed lots is to discharge onto the edge of the road
formation without: causing scouring; creating a trip hazard; or being damaged by vehicles parking on the
subject property’s frontage.
Response: We refer to the attached Crocker & Associates Engineer Drawings in which a new stormwater
drainage design is shown. The stormwater will now enter a sand infiltration pit which will slowly seep into the
ground and can overflow into adjacent landscaping on the two lower sides if necessary.
All of the information requested has been provided in this response and it shows that Council’s concerns have
been addressed.
Please do not hesitate to contact this office if clarification of any point is required.
Yours Sincerely
Wendy Wood | Principal
