Appendix D - Bushfire Risk Assessment and Management Plan

of 40
(3) The analysis results reveal that the bushfire hazard ratings and the APZs for a
given bushfire hazard vary with fire run distances and will become constant when
fire run distance reach a threshold value. This means that it is necessary to take
into fire run distance into account in order to prevent from over rating bushfire
hazard or over prescribing APZs for bushfire prone lands with small fire run
    distances.
