2.4.     ACOUSTIC ASSESSMENT IN SUPPORT OF PROPOSAL
An Acoustic Assessment prepared by Renzo Tonin and Associates addresses the relevant noise provisions
of the planning scheme and demonstrates that all noise criteria will be met, through the restriction of hours of
operation of the roof terrace from 7am – 9pm each day. Refer to Appendix F for a complete copy of the
report.
This report has also recommended that the development is subject to a requirement by condition, to
implement a noise management plan in order to manage any potential complaints related to the roof terrace.

2.5.     PRE-LODGEMENT DISCUSSIONS
Urbis understands that various pre-lodgement discussions between the previous consultant and the council
were carried out during 2017 and into 2018. These discussions related to the design, the land use,
approach to car parking, the building height and use of the roof terrace as well as acoustic requirements.
This new development application has sought to respond to all issues that have been previously discussed
and put forward a development that is able to be supported by the Council.
