Subject: SK BCS 1192 MCU 12/0184 Notice of submission Glenn Chaplin From: Chaplin, Glenn Date: 2013-10-17T07:27:59+00:00 To: Internet Mailbox Sunshine Coast Regional Council Objectors name. Glenn Chaplin 423 Top Forestry Rd. Cooroy Ref Broiler Farm Operation in Top Forestry Rd. This is my second email as I have been away overseas and have just had a chance to read a few other submissions. I have the property at the end of Top Forestry Rd and the first one down stream to be affected by run off, and there will be run off as the topography of the area makes it impossible to contain all the run off from our large rain events. Im appalled like many others that this proposal could get so far when direct neighbours had no idea it was even proposed. No council notifications in the mail , apparently signs on the property that no one saw. The owners have done a large scale modification to the landscape already to terrace the hillsides for avocadoes, visually not attractive, they now intend to visually pollute as well as environmentally pollute everyone elses environment with giant chicken sheds. Ive yet to see a visually pleasing one of those. Consequently I hope the council can see common sense and deny this application and protect this area we are all so proud in its present state.
