Conclusion
In summary, it is intended to use the outdoor area in the association with functions held at the restaurant,
which are mostly weddings. It is not intended to use the outdoor area for additional seating for additional
patrons attending the restaurant. The number maximum number of seated patrons that can attend the
restaurant is 120 persons, which will not change. Consequently, there will be no adverse impacts upon the
existing carparking situation in the locality, which is desirable.
The land is well located for the holding of functions which is of significant economic benefit to the general
community. It is a parcel of land that is not used by the community due to its small size, problematic access to
the canal and separated from the major areas of the Noosaville Foreshore.
It is requested that consideration be made by council for the issuing of an appropriate permit / permits which
will allow an interim outcome to occur to manage the existing customers who have made bookings to use this
space.
