Dear Sir/Madam,


Please find attached an application for Operational Works – Non-Standard Driveway
crossover for the above site. On behalf of our clients, Metricon Homes Pty Ltd, and the
owners, we request Council carry out an assessment and approval for the proposed driveway
against the Noosa Shire Council Planning Scheme and Sustainable Planning Act 2017.

The driveway crossover exceeds the maximum width at W1 (kerb) of 4 metres, and exceeds
the maximum width at W2 (crossover) of 3 metres. The driveway proposes a width of 5
metres at the kerb and 4 metres at the crossover to allow for adequate spacing for the
resident’s vehicles to safely enter and exit the dwelling’s double garage.
