1.5 SURROUNDING LANDSCAPE
The site is located within a semi vegetated rural-residential landscape. The dominant unit of hazardous
vegetation in proximity to the site is an area of native vegetation of approximately 150m width contained
within Council managed parkland to the west of the site. Additional semi-vegetated private freehold
allotments form a mosaic of vegetation which is interspersed with cleared areas. The landscape
surrounding the site is depicted in Plate 4.
